ARTIST STATEMENT

Drawing and painting on any surface is affirmation that I was born to create. The process is my journey of discovery and healing. It's a sanctuary where I trust my feelings and intuition. Art is an intimate dialogue between me and My Creator, and while I genuinely appreciate when viewers resonate with my work, I remain true to my own vision, dismissing the constraints of others' expectations. This authenticity allows raw emotions and unfiltered stories to find their way into my pieces. I am continually inspired, grounded, and humbled by nature. The roaring ocean and mighty oak trees are symbols of strength and resilience that connect me to God. Faith, Hope, Love, and humor are the guiding forces that drive my creativity; they provide me a safe haven and offer profound peace.
